Dr. Christopher Dore is a professional archaeologist engaged in cultural heritage business, law, and policy. He has led and contributed to projects addressing site damage, looting, trafficking, and the protection and management of archaeological resources, and has been engaged in developing professional standards and policy guidance through organizations such as the Register of Professional Archaeologists (Register), Society for American Archaeology (SAA), and Heritage Business International. As a part of this work, Dr. Dore frequently serves as an expert witness in legal cases involving archaeology and cultural heritage. As a scholar, Dr. Dore’s research has focused on community organization in the Maya area of México, invisible components of the archaeological record, and the use of geospatial technologies to understand spatial behavior. Dr. Dore has served as the President of both the Register and the American Cultural Resources Association, and he is currently the President of the SAA.

Dr. Perea González earned a Masters in Cultural Policies and Development from the University of Girona, Spain, holds a postgraduate degree in Adult Education from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, and graduated as a social anthropologist from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (ENAH, México). He held the position of Director of the INAH Sonora Center, a position he assumed in 2013.
Additionally, he has completed collaborative projects with the United States National Park Service on natural and cultural resource management. At INAH, he served as Head of the Departments of Community Museums and Museology Projects within the National Coordination of Museums; Deputy Director of the INAH Chihuahua Center; and Director of the INAH Chihuahua, Zacatecas, and Sonora Centers. He has also served as Director of Site Operations and Management Plans, as well as Director of El Tajín, a world heritage site in Veracruz.

Teresa Patrício is an architect and holds a PhD in Engineering, as well as an Advanced Master's degree in the Conservation of Monuments and Sites. She is President of the Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation (RLICC) at the KU Leuven, where she lectures in the Unit of History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture. She has directed a private practice specialising in the management of archaeological sites and has worked on restoration projects and risk-management strategies for major sites across the Mediterranean region. She is the President of ICOMOS and a member of ICOMOS Belgium. She is also an expert member of the ICOMOS ICORP and CIF committees. She contributed to the development of the 'Principles for Capacity Building for the Integrated Conservation of Cultural Heritage through Education and Training'. She represented ICOMOS in the Belgian inter-federal working group on the protection of cultural property within the inter-ministerial commission on human rights. Author of numerous publications, she is also a member of the Belgian Blue Shield.
